This straightforward dessert is a perfect was to end a meal, tangy lime to refresh the palate, and a swirl of cream….not forgetting accompanying it with some crisp light shortbread!

I like to add come cardamom to my shortbread to enhance the dish.

It can be made the day before a meal (with very few ingredients!), so there is very little to do at the time of service.
